For over 10 years, Dotti and Steve Seitz have been writing, telling stories, and performing puppetry and ventriloquism shows in Mid-Atlantic and Northeast venues.
Dotti is a ventriloquist and puppeteer and is a proud member of the Southern Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma. Her professional life, prior to founding The Puppet & Story Works with husband Steve, included singing, storytelling, work in National American Indian and Alaska Native tribal affairs, and training of adult professionals in the areas of cultural diversity and alcohol/substance abuse problem prevention. Dotti is a member of the International Ventriloquist Society.
Steve considers himself a “recovering” Pennsylvania Dutchman. He is a storyteller and puppeteer who comes from a career in the mental health and substance abuse treatment and prevention fields, as well as Christian ministry.
Steve and Dotti perform with their puppet and story friends for a wide variety of venues including elementary schools, retirement communities and facilities, community social and civic groups, and many church denominations, vacation Bible schools, camps, retreats and special events.
